Rainbow Fruit by Decadent Vapours – FOTM Aug 18

Today, a review on Decadent Vapours Flavour of the month for August 2018, this one is Rainbow Fruit by Decadent Vapours. Each month, Decadent slash 50% off of the price of a juice, the concentrate and the shake and vape, for a flavour of the month. Decadent are based in Swansea, UK and have an great looking (recently updated) website with all of their ranges of fully tested E-liquids. They also have a big range of their juice concentrates to mix yourself and some vaping hardware listed on the website. Decadent are a very popular E-liquid business and have been in the industry since 2009.

Rainbow Fruit is supplied in a 10ml TPD compliant bottle. You can also buy it in 5 x 10ml and 10 x 10ml options. There is different Nicotine strengths of zero, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg to choose from. It is also sold in concentrate or DV’s 30ml ‘shake and vape’ option. The Rainbow Fruit bottle is clear with a bright Yellow child safety cap. A colourful label wraps the bottle containing printed warnings, flavour title, ingredients, batch number and best before date. The base ratio of this mix is 50PG/50VG but you can opt to buy it in higher VG with the shake and vape option. The bottle is in tough plastic but easy to squeeze to get juice out from the nozzle.

The flavour profile is described on the DV website as DV’s Rainbow Fruit E-liquid is sure to delight anyone familiar with Skittles sweets. It’s a fanfare of sunny strawberry, zingy lime and tart blackcurrant. Refreshing throat hit with mouthwatering citrus after-notes and a warm hint of vanilla. A deliciously fruity steam. On smelling from the bottle, it is a big fruity scent and is comparable to smelling a freshly opened bag of Skittles. Just by scent, you sometimes just know that a juice will be good and this one passes that test.

Device use: Wotofo Flux mod and Wotofo Recurve RDA with 0.6 ohm coil.

On vaping, it is a really smooth fruity mix. The taste is exactly like chewing up some skittles in your mouth. It’s clear to pick out the Blackcurrant, Strawberry and a zesty Lime mixed in, but it is so well blended together with just enough of each flavour. I’m not a big Blackcurrant fan, but its mixed with the other flavours so well, I could easily vape this all day. In fact, it is probably one of the best Fruity E-liquids that I’ve had for a while and would definitely order a larger bottle. It is sweet, but not overdone and I think the touch of Vanilla helps this blend all the fruits. Being a 50/50, throat hit is good without harshness and it gives good clouds for a 50PG.

My score: 9/10 – Brilliantly mixed blend of fruits exactly like the sweets. Now one of my favourite Fruity E-liquids!

You can buy Rainbow Fruit via the DV links in the review. Flavour of the month means it’s half price for the whole of August. It is currently £2.98 for 10ml, 50ml is £14.90 and 100ml for £29.80.
